SplishSplash (7-12)
We will be going to SplishSplash down in Lake Havasu! This is an on the water obstacle course located at The Nautical in LHC. The cost of this will be $35. It includes the course, transportation, and lunch. To sign up, we will pass out the waiver and lunch order menu. The waiver and payment will need to be turned in to fully sign up.
Aquatic Center (K-6)
We will be going to the aquatic center for our year end trip. The cost of this will be $25. It includes swimming, transportation, and lunch. Sign ups open May 4th and will go until May 14th.
Last Academic Day
Final Report cards will be handed out on this day. Those that are not signed up for the summer school program will have their academics locked after this day.
Water Day
We will have water balloons, small pools, and things to that nature available for the kids to play in. Please send students in the outfit you would like them to get wet in. In addition, please send an outfit for the students to get changed into. This will happen during school hours and there will be no changes.
Bully Free BMX USA
We are excited to have the BMX bikers visiting the school! This will happen during the school day 😊.
Spring Fling Dance (Grades 7-12)
This dance will be Semi-Formal. It will be held at the school. There will be no cost; however, we will have snacks and pizza for sale at the dance. The pizza will be $1, and the other items will consist of candy, chips, etc. for a variety of prices.
All Starz Field Trip (Grades K-6)
We will be going to All Starz on this day. Students will be dropped off at All Starz at 945am and picked up at 12. Students need to wear their school shirts, bring a water bottle, and the cost is to be determined.
Science Fair
We will have the science fair projects set up and display for the public. Your student and family are welcome to come and see all the students’ hard work! Also, we will have the top 3 projects with awards (from an outside panel).
Picture Day
Students will be taking pictures with Richard Doxtader. The times will be sporadic, so please make sure your student will be here on time and ready to take pictures. We will have pictures done before recess. These will be yearbook pictures.
Friday School
9am-10am Lego Club
10am-11am Gaming Club
11am-12pm Superhero Community
12pm-1pm Chess Club
Students can also come in and just work on schoolwork from 8am-1pm.
Re-Registration
EVERY STUDENT WILL NEED TO RE-REGISTER TO CONTINUE FOR NEXT YEAR. Please use the Calendly links to make an appointment to come in and register for the 2026-2027 school year. Any student that does not re-register will be dropped from the program on June 30th.
First Responder Week
We will be having multiple first responder agencies coming onto campus during this week. While we are still finalizing certain things, we do know that Kingman Fire Department and Kingman Police Department will be making an appearance. We are still working on having AMR, DPS, and Sherrif’s being able to come as well. The presentation will vary depending on grade level (i.e. for elementary it will be about safety, for middle and high school it will be about employment opportunities and safety, etc). If you have any questions, please feel free to ask!
The First responder week is a trial run for next year. Working with Dr. Amy, we are hoping to have a “themed” week each month (i.e. career week, first responder week, health week, etc). Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
As of March 23, we will have 28 academic days left and 29 school days left. Let’s finish the year like Superheroes!
Altitude Jump
This is the “redo” of our Altitude Jump Trip. All students must wear school shirts to this field trip. Lunch will be provided. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING VERY CAREFULLY:
If your student didn’t sign up, then they can sign up and pay $25
If your student signed up previously, but DID NOT go bowling, they are eligible for the field trip and just need to notify administrators that they would like to go.
If your student signed up previously AND WENT BOWLING, then they will need to pay $10 to go on the Altitude field trip
ALL MONEY AND SIGN UPS ARE DUE BY 3/5. If your student signed up for Altitude previously and does not want to go this time (or does not resign up), the money will be returned to you.
Spring Break
The school will be open the first week of Spring Break from 8AM-1PM. The second week will be open by appointment only.
Spirit Week
Monday: Pajama Day
Tuesday: Tie Day (wear tie die and students will do a tie die t-shirt in class)
Wednesday: Band Tee (wear your favorite band t shirt)
Thursday: School Spirit (wear your school shirt)
Elementary Back to School Night
Parents of students in grades K-5th are welcome to come and talk with the teachers, see the new rooms, and get an update for semester 2. We will also have partners that can accept ESA as payment on-site to be able to sign up for extracurriculars. In addition, we are working on having the Lions Club and other sources.
Friday School
We will have two forms of Friday school:
Clubs (a student must be actively participating in a club, or they will be moved to study hall):
9-10: Lego Club (all grades)
10-11: Gaming Club (all grades)
11-12: Superhero Community (8th-12th grade; come help to plan dances and activities, learn how to lead tours, and be a leader at the school)
12-1: Chess Club (all grades)
Extra Assistance:
8-10am: Grades K-5 will receive extra assistance on their schoolwork in 1 to 5 ratio classes. This is a great time to get caught up or ahead.
10:30am-1pm: Grades 6-12 will receive extra assistance on their schoolwork in 1 to 5 ratio classes. This is a great time to get caught up or ahead.
Middle School Back to School Night
Parents of students in grades 6th-8th are welcome to come and talk with the teachers, see the new rooms, and get an update for semester 2. High School Back to School Night
Parents of students in grades 9th-12th are welcome to come and talk with the teachers, see the new rooms, and get an update for semester 2. We will also have partners that can accept ESA as payment on-site to be able to sign up for extracurriculars. In addition, we are working on having the Lions Club and other sources. Any graduating student (for the school year 2025-2026) must attend this!
Altitude Jump Park Field Trip
We are going to the Altitude Park in Lake Havasu City, AZ. The cost per student will be $25. Any student that completed all hikes will be eligible to go for free. All students must wear school shirts to this field trip. Lunch will be provided. Students sign up by turning in money.
Parent Mental Health Night
Dr. Amy Oberg (our mental health coach) will be holding a parent mental health night. This will give parents tools to help the mental health of all aged students. Dr. Amy will also discuss the different activities that she has been doing with students in the classroom. It is a great resource, and we highly recommend it.

The way our parent/teacher conferences work is the following: We use Calendly to set up the appointments. Each family is limited to 30 minutes for their children. We will send out a link on Procare for November 1st to sign up. Progress reports will go home 11/13 so you know your students’ progress.
We will have the Team Lead, Ms. Cathy, and the Guide in on the conversation. It is up to you whether you would like to have the student.

Scooter's Field Trip
For our Halloween Party, we are going to Scooter's in Bullhead City. Students are encouraged to dress up however, ABSOLUTELY NO masks or weapons with their costumes. We will only be taking 100 students in total on this trip, sign ups will be posted on 10/13. Money is not due until 10/27. If your student wants to go after the 100 have already signed up, then you will need to provide transportation. Otherwise, we will be taking our bus (hopefully).
College Night
Any student who is interested in attending college in January 2026 or any student who is currently enrolled in college will need to attend this night to get signed up for classes. If your student is planning on starting classes, please bring: Birth Certificate, ID, and Social Security Card.
Pink Day
We will be participating in our annual Pink Day in support of cancer awareness. We encourage students to come dressed in as much pink as possible!
